Introduction to Knitting

Learn the basics of casting on, purl, and knit stitches. We will help you get started and then guide you to what materials you need. There is no fee for this class. Please let us know if you plan to attend.

APRIL CLASSES

Felted Wall Hanging or Trivet

Create a felted wool scene which can be hung or used on a table as a decorative trivet. Learn two methods of making felt: first create a background using wet felting techniques; then, add the details onto the background using needle felting. Come with a picture in mind or let inspiration take over and see what happens! No experience required – felting is quick and easy to learn.
